Sharni Vison, an Australian American dancer/actor, was born on the 22nd of July of 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, she was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The casting agent wished to see her perform one of the main parts. Although she did try out to play the part, she was not selected. She was instead cast in the show in the role of Cassie Turner. The character is young disturbed girl in foster care.
